The USDA’s Regulatory Framework for Seed Health (ReFreSH) integrates quality management system components and utilizes a systems approach to effectively mitigate pest risks throughout the seed production and international shipping process. In this working group, APHIS and ASTA members will discuss the requirements for developing the seed health management plan, alongside other critical topics, to facilitate the successful implementation of this program. This initiative aims to create a more effective and efficient strategy for managing phytosanitary risks associated with international seed movements, ultimately safeguarding plant health.
