Lindsey du Toit serves as a Professor and Extension Plant Pathologist at the Washington State University Mount Vernon NWREC, where she has run a vegetable seed crop pathology program since 2000. Her program focuses on diseases affecting small-seeded vegetable seed crops in the Pacific Northwest USA. Lindsey obtained BS (University of Natal, South Africa), MS and PhD (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) degrees in plant pathology. Since 2023, Lindsey has served as chair of the WSU Department of Plant Pathology.
