General Event Information

The new exhibit schedule for the Field Crop Seed Convention will follow the same format as the Seed Expo of the past, with some important exceptions:

  • The entire convention has been shifted forward one day from the pattern of the past (see schedule below).
  • All exhibits will be in one main ballroom, the Regency Ballroom, or its surrounding foyer space (carpeted), at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
  • Ceiling heights and load-in capabilities are much more ample - up to 22' high - feel free to bring larger equipment!
  • Hours:
    • Tuesday, December 5: Large equipment load-in: 8am to 12 noon / All other exhibitors: 12 noon to 5pm
    • Wednesday, December 6: Remaining setup, 8am to 11am / 11am to 12 noon, final hall cleaning prior to opening
      • SHOW OPENS 12:00 noon to 6:30 pm
    • Thursday, December 7: Show open 8am to 5pm
    • Friday, December 8: Show open 8am to 12:00 noon
  • Our new exhibit hall contractor is Shepard Exposition, who will be providing all hall management and the exhibitor kit.
  • Each exhibit space includes:
    • Two free individual registrations for your exhibit personnel
    • One skirted six foot table and two chairs
    • Company identification sign
    • Complimentary Wi-Fi

 

Exhibit Booth Rates (before Nov. 15, 2023) (See Floor Plan): 

ASTA members: $1,300 per 10x10 standard or $1,450 per 10x10 premium

Non-members: $2,100 per 10x10 standard or $2,250 per 10x10 premium

Any booth location can be converted into a reserved appointment table (round, with 8 chairs) for $450 off the above prices. If you would like to reserve a sit-down appointment table, contact Jennifer Crouse at jcrouse@betterseed.org for the appointment table discount code to use in registration.

Modular Meeting Rooms are also offered in 10' x 20' booth locations. These include:

  • Conference table with 10 chairs
  • Locking Door
  • Company ID sign
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • Any additional power, a/v equipment, or food and beverage must be ordered separately.
  • Please note that these meeting rooms must follow the Expo hours for your scheduled meeting times (see hours above), unless it is located in Regency Ballroom V, which allows access beginning at noon on December 5 (but not after hours into the evening).

Who attends?

The ASTA Field Crop Seed Convention (formerly known as the CSS & Seed Expo) typically gathers more than 2,300 seed industry professionals from 35 countries for four days of networking and education at America's Largest Seed Industry Conference. Participants hail mainly from the Midwest United States and the majority work in field crops, focusing on corn, soybean, sorghum and wheat seed. For more demographics, see the illustrations below.
