Calling all exhibitor companies for our expanded special events series in the new "villages" this year! Following up on the success of our past Seed Expo tours – we are building on that success this year with not one, but FOUR interactive opportunities for exhibitors to connect to attendees.

These showcases will also receive extra media attention this year in a featured series in Seed World magazine.

Proposal Submission instructions / rules:

Click "register" above to complete your Seed Expo showcase application, choosing which showcase best suits your company's products/services. 

  1. Choose ONE of the sessions listed above for the best relevance to your company’s mission. Applicants must have a registered exhibit booth in Seed Expo 2021 to be considered.
  2. Presentations must be educational in nature – not a sales pitch. Presentations may not disparage any other seed company or industry practice.
  3. Application requirements
    1. Up to a maximum of 8 exhibitor companies will be selected to present a presentation for each showcase. Applicants should apply by answering the following questions:

      5. Why it matters to the seed industry:
    2. All applications must be submitted by October 22 to jcrouse@betterseed.org.
  4. Topic proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
    1. Creativity
    2. Educational value
    3. Relevance/connectivity to the rest of the session content
    4. Innovation
    5. Long-term viability of the proposed idea(s)
    6. Adherence to submission rules
  5. Selection of topics will be conducted as follows:
    1. Topics submitted for Sessions II and III will be reviewed by a committee panel comprising representatives from the CSS Program Planning Committee, the ASTA Associate Members Division leadership and ASTA staff.
    2. Topics submitted for Session I will be reviewed by a committee panel comprising representatives from the ASTA Seed Industry Relations Committee, the ASTA Associate Members Division leadership and ASTA staff. Topics submitted for Session IV will be reviewed by a committee panel comprising representatives from the ASTA Seed Treatment & Environment Committee, the ASTA Associate Members Division leadership and ASTA staff.
  6. Deadline for submission of all presentation proposals is October 22, 2021. Proposals will be evaluated and selected no later than November 1, 2021.
