Tracy has a PhD in Plant Pathology from Iowa State University. She worked for several years as a Seed Pathologist with the Iowa State University Seed Science Center Seed Lab and helped coordinate the National Seed Health System and the NSHAPP program. Tracy now works for USDA-APHIS-PPQ as the Commodity Specialist for seed where she uses her knowledge of seeds and seed pathology to provide resources to help solve problems related to seed import, export and regulatory issues.
