The Program

ASTA's Farm and Lawn Seed Conference is held in conjunction with the Western Seed Association's Annual Meeting each year in Kansas City, Missouri. The ASTA programming typically includes meetings on cover crops, environmental and conservation seed, sorghum seed, and topics of interest to grass, turf, forage, conservation and cotton seed companies. 10:30 am – 12:00 n--- Environmental & Conservation Seed Committee Meeting

    • Bureau of Land Management Update by Trisha Roller, BLM (tentative)
    • Native Seed Legislation in the States by Pat Miller, ASTA
    • National Academy of Sciences Report:  An Assessment of Native Seed Needs and Capacities by Rob Wendell, Schaff Seed Companies
