Mary Scott serves as the Natural Resource Policy Specialist for the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) where her portfolio includes public lands, forestry, and endangered species. Prior to joining NACD, Mary worked on international programs for the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA).

Originally from Idaho, Mary grew up involved in the cattle industry. She began her career at the Idaho State Department of Agriculture assisting with livestock import and export permits and later served as an animal health microbiologist. She graduated from the University of Idaho where she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science and livestock management.
