Jennifer Mclain-Romero serves at the Department of Food and Agriculture as a Senior Environmental Scientist. In this role, she trains county staff on seed field inspections and assists county staff with the biology of pathogens and interactions with the CDFA lab. She works to improve seed export from CA in conjunction with all parties. Romero has an M.S. from UC Riverside in Plant Pathology and her previous roles included positions in the nursery industry, at New Mexico State University, and for CDFA.
