Adil earned his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has worked in agriculture research and development for over eight years, starting at Monsanto working on both the trait and biologicals platforms and then most recently with Bayer Crop Sciences. Adil currently leads the Discovery Program for Crop Efficiency within Bayer’s Biologicals Department, leading the strategy to develop a next-generation portfolio for biologics in Ag. In his current role, Adil and his team are responsible for the discovery and early testing of new biological candidates, focusing on bacteria and fungi as well as bio-molecules.
