Dr. Jennifer Riggs leads the research and development management team for BASF's Global Seed Treatment Business. She also provides technical oversight for the global and U.S. Product Managers, and serves as a resource for the marketing, regulatory and key account departments. Prior to her current position, Dr. Riggs served as a U.S. Product Development Manager at Bayer, where she also managed the basic research efforts of the Seed Treatment Technology Center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. She joined Bayer as part of the Gustafson acquisition, and brings 24 years of seed treatment experience to BASF. Dr. Riggs earned her Ph.D. in plant pathology and microbiology from Texas A&M University. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Texas A&M University.
