Vonnie is the VP of Innovation at the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA), where she drives technology adoption across the produce supply chain. She connects tech innovators with producers to address critical industry needs. With leadership experience at major corporations (Monsanto, Syngenta, Dupont) and AgTech startups, she brings deep expertise in agriculture and clean technology. She hosts the “Fresh Takes on Tech” podcast and leads the Fresh Field Catalyst Accelerator to introduce new solutions to the industry. Vonnie also chairs IFPA’s Technology and CEA Councils, focusing on key sector issues, and serves on several advisory boards. She holds a BS in Horticulture from New Mexico State and an MS in Plant Pathology from UC Davis. In 2017, she received the Rosalind Franklin Award from the Biotechnology Innovation Organization for her contributions to industrial biotechnology.
