Thorsten Schwindt serves as Vice President of Commercial Operations Americas at Bayer Vegetable Seeds. Based in St. Louis, he is also a member of the global Bayer Vegetable Seeds Leadership Team. Thorsten is inspired and motivated by Bayer’s vision of “Health for all, Hunger for none.”
In his current role, he is in charge of the execution of the Bayer vegetable business in the countries of North and South America. His team is focused on developing and marketing innovative vegetable seeds under the Seminis and De Ruiter brands.
He brings close to 20 years of experience to the Bayer Crop Science team and held various positions across the globe, such as Bayer Crop Science Country Head in Thailand, Strategic Business Director for Fruit and Vegetables Crop Protection in North America, and finally his current role as Vice President of Commercial Operations Americas at Bayer Vegetable Seeds.
Thorsten lives with his wife, two children and Westie near St Louis, Missouri. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, listening to music and spending time with his family.
