Lauren Comin is the Director of Policy at Seeds Canada, the seed industry association in Canada. In her role, Lauren focuses on policy issues impacting seed trade and innovation, including regulation of breeding innovation, intellectual property, phytosanitary and trade and sustainability. Lauren has been with Seeds Canada since May 2022 and joined the sector after nine years in agricultural research strategy and investment. Lauren has a PhD in Bioresource and Food Engineering from the University of Alberta.
