Jonathan M. Jacobs is a plant pathologist and Assistant Professor of Emerging Infectious Disease Ecology in the Department of Plant Pathology at The Ohio State University. His team aims to define tissue-specific interactions of pathogens with plants and to use Next Generation technologies for pathogen surveillance and detection. He is particularly interested in tracking emerging pathogen threats to plant-based agriculture.
