As Senior Manager of State Affairs for Syngenta, Todd Barlow oversees legislative, regulatory, and stakeholder relations in 20 states across the Southeast and Midwest. He joined Syngenta in 2009 as state government relations manager. Previously, Barlow served as executive director of the Kentucky Corn and Small Grain Growers associations; founder and board member of Commonwealth Agri-Energy, a 35-million-gallon ethanol plant in Hopkinsville; and founder and CEO of Kentucky Corn Utilization, where he developed and managed a 20,000-head swine finishing operation. A native of Paducah, Barlow grew up on a diversified livestock, row crop, and tobacco farm. He is a graduate of Murray State University.
