This important session, featuring opening remarks from Bruce Kettler, Director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, provides the State of the Association with a look towards the future after a very challenging year. In a special presentation, Bernadette Juarez from USDA-APHIS/BRS will provide an update on Part 340 and its impacts on ASTA members. Reports on key ASTA strategic issues, as well as those from each ASTA region will provide updates on the issues affecting the seed business including operational and logistical impacts and much more. ASTA elections for the year ahead, which begins July 1, 2020, will also be announced in this session. All ASTA members are encouraged to have at least one representative from each member company attend this time-honored tradition, dating back to 1883.
