This special session from the ASTA Hemp Seed Working Group includes a presentation describing how the liquid chromatography-diode array detection (LC-DAD)'s recent approval for hemp will affect the future, by Dr. Holly E. Johnson, American Herbal Products Association, Chief Science Officer & Chair of the Cannabis Analytical Science Program. From there, Russell Laird, National Industrial Hemp Council, will provide a federal regulatory update, followed by a report on hemp production innovation by Wendy Mosher, CEO of New West Genetics. Chet Boruff, AOSCA Executive Director, will give an update on their Hemp Seed Variety Review Board.
