Emily Ziemke (Combs) is a Research and Development Lead in the Farming Systems and Digital group at Corteva Agriscience. In this role she is responsible for development, coordination, and execution of strategic planning, resourcing, project portfolio management, and communication plans aligned with the Seed Product Development R&D sub-function. She began her career at Corteva in 2013 and ran a corn breeding program for 8 years. She received her Ph.D. in applied plant sciences with a concentration in plant breeding and genetics from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities and her bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in genetics and development from Cornell University.
