Coy grew up on a corn and soybean row crop family farm in northern Indiana, where his family also raises 250 head of feedlot and cow-calf commercial cattle. He graduated from Purdue University in May 2024 with a degree in Agricultural Business Management and minors in Animal Sciences and Crop Sciences. Currently, he works as a Production Agronomist at Corteva Agriscience at the Hedrick, Iowa production plant in the Seed Operations Development Program. As a contributing member of the Field Operations Team, he is responsible for managing one of the seed soybean growing areas in Southeast Iowa to produce high-quality seed for Pioneer, Brevant, and multiple other regional brands within their portfolio.
