John Gerard serves as Vice President at JoMar Seeds, where he has spent the past five years providing elite wheat genetics to independent seed companies across the US and Canada. As the third generation of his family to carry the business forward, John continues a legacy built on trust, expertise, and a commitment to the seed industry.

In his role, John oversees a broad range of responsibilities including leading client accounts, production and inventory operations, business development, data analytics, and genetic selection — all with a focus on delivering real value to JoMar's customers.

John holds degrees in finance and marketing from Indiana Wesleyan University, with a concentration in investment and corporate finance — a background that shapes both his approach to genetic selection and day to day business.

Beyond JoMar, John is an active voice in the seed industry, currently serving on ASTA's Communications Committee and LEAD Committee. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing pickleball, golfing, and trying new restaurants. John is also an active member of his church, where he serves in the student ministry and various church events.
