Originally from the Midwest, Emily is passionate about the environmental, economic, and social opportunities that the region's natural resources provide. Her work focuses on sustainable agriculture and climate resilience, where she collaborates with diverse teams of researchers and policymakers to develop frameworks that support a more sustainable, diversified agricultural system. Emily’s research interests include understanding the motivators and barriers to practice adoption, public policy development, and community engagement. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends.
