James Smith is the current President of the Association of Official Seed Analysts and also the First Vice President of the Association of American Seed Control Officials. He has been involved with seed testing for over 37 years and has been a Registered Seed Technologist for over 33 years. Not only has he been involved with seed testing, he has managed conditioning plants and was involved in purchasing seed as well as loss prevention at the seed plants. James is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BS in agronomy with an emphasis on soils and seed.
