James Smith is a Registered Seed Technologist with more than 38 years of experience in the seed industry. He currently serves as President of the Association of Official Seed Analysts (AOSA) and the Association of American Seed Control Officials (AASCO). James holds a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from Mississippi State University and serves as the State Seed Control Official for Mississippi. His extensive background includes managing seed conditioning facilities, overseeing seed purchasing, and conducting both quantitative and qualitative quality control programs.
