Jon Leafstedt serves as Managing Partner at Kincannon & Reed, the leading retained search firm placing senior executives in food and agribusiness organizations.  With more than 15 years of search experience, Jon has completed more than 250 senior-level searches, including 50+ CEO and GM placements. Prior to joining K&R, he led two venture-backed plant biotechnology firms and held key management roles in sales, marketing, governmental affairs, and intellectual property at global agribusiness companies.

Jon's passion for connecting transformative leaders with the right opportunities stems from his upbringing on a fifth-generation family farm which gave him an enduring commitment to agriculture and its noble mission of feeding people. 

Jon holds a BS in Animal Science from South Dakota State University and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
