Brian Glenn is the Senior Manager of Federal Government Relations for CropLife America (CLA). Established in 1933, CLA represents the developers, manufacturers, formulators and distributors of plant science solutions for agriculture and pest management in the United States. CLA’s member companies produce, sell, and distribute virtually all of the vital and necessary pesticide and biotechnology products used by American farmers. Brian joined CLA full-time in June 2019. Prior to joining CLA full time, Brian interned for CLA the summer of 2018 and worked part time during his last spring semester in undergrad at University of Maryland. Brian grew up on a small farm with Hereford beef cattle in Howard County, Maryland and was actively involved in 4-H throughout his childhood. Brian has a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Resource & Economics from University of Maryland, College Park. Brian now leads the association’s advocacy efforts on the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA), climate and sustainability, and educational efforts with stakeholders on the pesticide regulatory process. Brian also works with his CLA Federal Affairs team colleagues to implement industry Farm Bill priorities and Brian manages the CLA Grower Advisory Panel.
