Dr. Linda Prokopy is Professor and Department Head in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at Purdue University. Dr. Prokopy is an interdisciplinary social scientist who is recognized nationally and internationally for her work incorporating social science into the fields of agricultural conservation, agricultural adaptation to climate change, and watershed management. Dr. Prokopy has published over 140 peer-reviewed articles in consistently high-tier journals, she has generated over $33 million in competitive research funds, and she has graduated and mentored numerous graduate students and postdocs. She is currently the Project Director for a $10 million Sustainable Agriculture Systems grant from USDA-NIFA that is focused on diversifying the agricultural landscape of the Corn Belt.
