Dr. Rob Myers is Regional Director of Extension Programs for the USDA North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program, and serves as the SARE National Liaison for Cover Crops and Soil Health. He also holds an appointment as an adjunct faculty member in Plant Sciences at University of Missouri. He has grown cover crops in over 20 field seasons and over 50 of his 110 publications are on the topic of cover crops. He served as Co-Chair of the National Working Group on Cover Crops and Soil Health and is currently leading a national cover crop training project. His Ph.D. in agronomy is from University of Minnesota, and he grew up on a family farm in central Illinois.
