                                                    Eloy R Corona is the current Executive Director for the Seed Innovation & Protection Alliance (SIPA) based out of North Carolina.  SIPA is a >100 member industry group focused on best management practices and stakeholder education on seed innovations and the intellectual property rights behind them.  Eloy’s career spans business areas in intellectual property protection, licensing, product management, marketing, customer relationship management, marketing analytics and intelligence and sales with Monsanto, Bayer CropScience and BASF.  
Originally from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas where he spent 16 years in a territory sales management position focused on citrus, cotton, milo, corn, sugarcane and vegetable crops, he’s been able to leverage a large crop exposure to business applications and solutions. Eloy has been an active participant in ASTA’s IPR Committee, Emerging Issues working group and various other committees over the last 19 years. He’s also served two terms on the USDA Plant Variety Protection Advisory Board in recent years.
Eloy graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Animal Science and an MS in Agricultural Economics.
