Tristan R. Brown is Director of the Bioeconomy Development Institute and Associate Professor of Energy Resource Economics at the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry in Syracuse, New York. His work specializes in the policy and economics of advanced biofuels and bioproducts pathways. He recently served on the New York State Climate Action Council's Energy-Intensive and Trade-Exposed Industries advisory panel, where he contributed to the development of the state's new Climate-Focused Bioeconomy initiative.
