Matt is the Data Science Leader of Farming Solutions & Digital R&D at Corteva Agriscience. He was raised on a crop and livestock farm in northeast Iowa, earned a BS degree in Agronomy/Seed Science and MS and PhD degrees in Plant Breeding from Iowa State University. Matt began his employment with Pioneer in 2002 as a Research Scientist at the Windfall, IN research center and has held roles of Corn Breeder, Corn Evaluation Zone Lead, scientific lead for Breeding Technology, Research Director for the Northern Business Unit, North America Corn Breeding Lead and Automation & Field Technologies Lead prior to his current role.
