Radu Totir is a Corteva Agriscience Distinguished Laureate and the Biostatistics Lead in the Seed Product Development Department.
He has completed a PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics at Iowa State University in 2002, followed by a two year postdoctoral appointment at the same institution. Radu has joined DuPont Pioneer in October 2004.
Since joining DuPont Pioneer and now Corteva Agriscience, his primary responsibilities have been focused on the enablement and integration of modelling and prediction techniques within Corteva's proprietary Breeding Analytics and Decision Software Systems. The focus of these systems is to seamlessly enable global Seed Product Development colleagues to optimally convert into actionable knowledge all relevant high volume data streams to design, create, characterize and deliver industry leading seed products to our customers.
