James M. Johnson is the Breeding Technologies & Analytics Manager in the Seed R&D department.
He completed his PhD in Plant Breeding & Plant Genetics at University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2013. Since 2013, James has worked in the seed industry in several roles concentrated in the areas of biostatistics, data management, quantitative genetics, and application of new technologies in breeding. James Joined Farmers Business Network in 2020.
Since Joining FBN, his primary responsibilities have focused on the development of analytical tools and integration of technologies which leverage both traditional quantitative genetics and big data to drive innovation within the R&D program.
