Michael has been developing remote sensing and analytics systems for earth sciences, defense, intelligence, and agronomy applications since 1996.
At the Scripps Institution of Oceanography he developed systems to study the interaction of the world’s oceans and atmosphere in support of global climate research.
As the Director of Electro-Optic Systems, Manager of Mission Systems, and Manager of Special Projects at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, he was responsible for intelligence systems aboard multiple unmanned aircraft including the Predator, Reaper, Gray Eagle, and Avenger.
He is a founder and the CEO of SlantRange, Inc., a remote sensing and analytics company that is digitizing the world's farms to enable more efficient food production and delivery.
Mike has a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, a MBA from Georgetown University, and holds 7 patents in aerial remote sensing and analytics for agriculture.
