Description: Well-known technologies, such as seed cleaning with sieves or air column, can be bettered by several new ideas in the way of building the equipment. This offers finer discrimination of seeds, typically like separating corn kernels broken more or less than 50% (more than 50% will germinate, not the others). Innovation in sieve design can also increase the cleaning yield in respect to the size of the equipment: new patented sieves allow shorter length with higher yield.

Why it matters to the seed industry: All of these are programmable and reproductive adjustments: no longer operator-dependent. High precision cleaning, separation, sorting of seeds with a smaller machine. Easy to adjust and operate.
