Overview: The Seed Science Challenge, administered by the Seed Science Foundation (SSF) and the ASTA FuSE committee, is a project that demonstrates the student's ability to apply advanced knowledge and skills related to the seed industry in a way that makes a contribution to his or her professional work. This challenge gives students the opportunity to deepen involvement with ASTA and continue to make meaningful connections with more seed industry professionals. The mission of the Seed Science Foundation is to address seed and plant science challenges, encourage plant breeding education and seed research in support of the ever-changing needs of the global seed industry.
