My research is in improving regeneration through manipulation of epigenetic pathways in Arabidopsis thaliana, with the goal to apply these findings to major crop species, including cereal crops. After graduating, I hope to work in research and development of new crop lines which are more resilient to abiotic and biotic stresses, to improve crop yields and food security.
