I am a part of the Van Deynze & Hill lab. My dissertation research focuses on understanding and breeding for yield under combined water deficit and heat stress in sweet pepper. Post graduation my goal is to lead impactful research that contributes to more sustainable food systems. While I am particularly drawn to the applied research focus of the seed industry, I am also strongly considering academic pathways.
