Mike Mendelsohn is the Branch Chief, of the Emerging Technologies Branch within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Biopesticides and Pollution Prevention Division (BPPD). BPPD manages the registration and regulation of biopesticides, including microbial, biochemical, and plant-incorporated protectants (PIPs). The Emerging Technologies Branch addresses novel products like RNAi, genome-edited PIPs. Mike has over 20 years of public service at EPA and is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
