Alex Deckey was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. He graduated from Duke University. In 2020, he joined Gowan Company as a chemical sales representative in the Northeast, gaining experience across field and specialty cropping systems.

In 2023, Alex joined Gowan SeedTech as the business manager and led the acquisition of the FarMore vegetable seed treatment platform from Syngenta in 2024. Following the acquisition, he transitioned to be General Manager, where he now oversees the business as it works to serve vegetable seed breeders, treaters, and growers. Gowan SeedTech’s focus is vegetable seed treatment, and we are committed to providing growers with innovative solutions for seedling pests now and into the future.
