Jason Saathoff is a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on the development of microfluidic technologies for high-throughput biological analysis and assay miniaturization. At this conference, he will present a protoplast-based assay for detecting infectious virus within seed samples. Jason was recognized as Graduate Student of the Year by UCI’s Department of Biomedical Engineering and is supported by CADMIM, a consortium of industry partners.
