Erica Bliss is the CEO of Glean Ag, a software company applying AI to advance agriculture research globally. Glean enables faster and more accurate data collection, all via mobile phone. She was previously the Chief Commercial Officer at Mineral, Google’s agriculture company that developed products for precision agriculture, quality inspection and yield forecasting. Prior to this she spent a decade in East and Southern Africa, leading business development for Syngenta, building crop lending, insurance and supply chain initiatives across a wide variety of crops. She also developed supply chains in emerging markets with Coca-Cola, Walmart, World Food Program and other multinationals in collaboration with NGOs, including the Gates Foundation and TechnoServe. She holds an MBA from UC Berkeley.
