In this role, Mike oversees critical components of U.S. agricultural exports, including compliance with European Union requirements, management of the Phytosanitary Certificate Issuance & Tracking (PCIT) system, and advancement of Electronic Phytosanitary Certification (ePhyto) initiatives.
With over 18 years of experience in his current position and a career at USDA spanning more than two decades since 2001, Mike has played a key role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of U.S. export certification processes. His expertise supports international trade by safeguarding plant health and facilitating smooth export operations for U.S. agricultural commodities.
