Amanda Ver Helst currently holds the position of Research Laboratory Manager, overseeing the design, conduct and analysis of contract studies within the SGS laboratory. Earning her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at South Dakota State University, Amanda has built her career with SGS since 2002, while expanding her competence as a Registered Genetic Technologist . Throughout her time at SGS, she supervised the DNA -Protein Lab, overseeing and performing qualitative and quantitative ELSA testing and genetic purity testing. Now, as Research Laboratory Manager, Amanda validates results while providing quality oversight, always ensuring proficiency and precision from herself, her team and for her clients. She oversees all of the seed treatment projects and various other client specific studies. She also offers expertise in GLP, serving previously as a Quality Assurance officer and now as Principal Investigative Analyst for Seed Treatment Application and ELISA testing.
