Eric is devoted to using his scientific expertise to tackle today’s most difficult challenges facing food and agriculture. After years of studying biological system interactions in the lab, he co-found Sound Agriculture to ensure that the insights gained could be deployed in real-world situations, helping improve grower productivity, profitability and sustainability. Eric was a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London and has authored and invented more than 10 publications and patents. Since the inception of Sound, Eric has raised over $15 M from prominent financial and strategic investors to support company growth. He received a PhD in cell and molecular biology, and a B.S. in microbiology, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
