Dr. Mark Stowers is the Chief Operations Officer and President of North America at Inari Agriculture, Inc. based in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he has responsibility for its commercial, regulatory, operations, products and supply chain activities. Before joining Inari, he was the Vice President and Global Head of Research and Development at HM.Clause, a business unit of Limagrain. In this capacity he served on the Group’s Scientific Committee and Vegetables Research Committee. Previously, Mark was senior executive with Monsanto, POET and Eastman Kodak. In addition, he has been the CEO or founder of five in companies in sustainable agriculture, green chemistry and fermentation.
Mark holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from North Carolina State University (1982), completed post-doctoral studies at the Boyce Thompson Institute at Cornell University and attended the Olin School of Business at Washington University – St. Louis. He is also a graduate of the Wedgeworth Leadership Institute at the University of Florida.
