Madelyn Koester grew up in northern Illinois on a grain farm. She earned a BS in Agricultural and Consumer Economics from the University of Illinois and began her career in management consulting as a Business Analyst working with agribusinesses and associations. She started out in the agtech space as a Customer Success Manager at Granular training farms through the process of adopting a farm management platform to manage their farm business. Her experience working closely with customers and deeply understanding their needs led her to product management where she focuses on the prioritization of which problems to solve for customers in Granular software and how. She first did this within the Granular Business (farm management software) product, and now focuses on Granular Insights.
