As Head of Global Digital Ag, Richard leads the team responsible for maximizing grower engagement of the company’s comprehensive suite of digital agronomy tools. With 25 years experience as an agronomist and working with innovative technologies over the years, he has an aptitude for combining traditional agronomy with digital agriculture to help transform the decision-making process for growers and agricultural professionals to grow their businesses.
He joined Farmers Edge in 2016 where he led the development and launch of some of the company’s revolutionary tools such as the FarmCommand Scouting App, Growth Stage Modeling and Daily Satellite Imagery.
Prior to joining Farmers Edge, he held various roles leading technical and product training and helped identify market opportunities for Syngenta.
Richard holds a B.Sc in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba.
