Dave Bubeck is the Research Director of Global Breeding Services with Corteva Plant Breeding R&D. In his role, Dave oversees Global Plant Pathology, Global Germplasm Security and Plant Breeding’s Quality Management implementation.
Dave joined Pioneer Hi-Bred in February 1998 as a Research Coordinator in Maize Product Development and continued as a Research Director in plant breeding 2000. He lead a corn breeding program and subsequently lead various parts of the North America and Southern Europe Corn breeding programs until fall of 2013. Since then, he had several Research responsibilities.
Dave was a corn breeder for Northrup King/Novartis from 1991 to 1998.
Dave earned his Bachelors of Science degree in agronomy and his Master of Science degree in plant breeding and cytogenetics from Iowa State University. He received his Ph.D. in plant breeding and crop science at North Carolina State University.
